When, I was a kid, the RAINBOW offered a facsinating sight which made me spellbound. Somehow now a days the brick and mortar has gobbled up the rainbow. Today it was raining torrentially in Kolkata and I was standing in my balcony and feeling nostalgic about the past which was so full of colours, the colours of the RAINBOW. Then I saw the beauty of the rain drops falling on the raod and on the puddles created. The shape of the rain drops was as if all the dance forms of INDIA were being enacted at the same time and when I closed my eyes and heard the music created by the rain drops , I was mesmerised . The entire SARGAM was at its peak and I was sneeking in and watching the INDIAN IDOL , THE VOICE OF INDIA , SA-RE-GA-MA-PA all at one go. What a sight and sound to behold.
